1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Petnee, a pet-friendly place discovery platform operated in Taiwan. By creating an account or using Petnee, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Service Description
Petnee helps you discover pet-friendly places such as restaurants, parks, shops, hotels, and services across Taiwan, and lets you save places, plan visits, and share experiences with the community.
Place information — including pet policies — is compiled from public sources, venue submissions, and community contributions. It is provided for reference only and may be outdated or inaccurate. Pet policies can change at any time at the venue's discretion. Please confirm directly with the venue before visiting.
3. User Accounts
- You must sign in via a supported provider (Google, Apple, or Facebook) to use certain features.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You may delete your account at any time via Profile > Delete Account.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. User-Generated Content
You retain ownership of the reviews, ratings, photos, posts, and comments you submit ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant Petnee a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and distribute it within the service, so that other users can see it.
You are solely responsible for your User Content and must have the necessary rights to everything you post (including photos).
5. Acceptable Use
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior. You agree not to post or do any of the following:
- Content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, threatening, hateful, obscene, or discriminatory
- False or misleading reviews, spam, or commercial solicitation
- Content that infringes another person's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights
- Impersonation of any person or entity
- Attempts to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service
- Scraping or bulk extraction of place data or user data
6. Content Moderation
We may review, remove, or restrict any User Content that violates these Terms, and may suspend or ban users who violate them, at our sole discretion and without prior notice. To report objectionable content or abusive users, contact us at support@petnee.com. We aim to act on valid reports within 24 hours.
7. Intellectual Property
The Petnee name, logo, app design, and all content we create are protected by intellectual property laws and remain our property. Map data is provided by Google Maps Platform. Some place data is © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License (ODbL).
8. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
Petnee is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of the service or any place information. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Petnee shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including any experience at a venue found through Petnee.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or via email. Continued use of Petnee after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan (R.O.C.). Any disputes shall be submitted to the Taiwan Taipei District Court as the court of first instance.
